What started as one man cooking to help neighbors after a hurricane turned into something much bigger. With the help of generous donations and countless big-hearted volunteers, Big Yummy served over 71,000 hot meals to families in need.
From there, the mission grew. Whether it’s lending a hand, firing up the smoker, or feeding a crowd, Big Yummy has always believed good food can heal, connect, and bring folks together.
Rooted in the laid-back mountain vibes of Linville Falls, NC, Big Yummy BBQ carries that same spirit — hearty portions, smoky flavors, and a whole lot of compassion. And now, the adventure continues with the launch of Basecamp, a place built on community, kindness, and of course, big flavor.
